The main functionality of Purrrr is its live streaming service, broadcasting cats that visit the feeders. You can feed the cats that visit via coins, which can be bought or redeemed daily. You can find feeders to follow and watch via the Explore tab, or the "Pawpular" tab.

Along with feeding the cats, you have access to Cat Snaps, which allows you to view photos and clips recorded from the many feeders. They are sorted into Hot, Trending, and Latest, and posts featured there can be downloaded or shared with anyone outside the app. You can also add personalized tags to the posts for others to see and react to.

Love Tokens (爱心币) are the currency in the Hello Street Cat app. A Love Token is ~0.065 Chinese Yuan (€0.008 or $0.009) and is how people in the app donate Kibble or Freeze-dried chicken snacks. You can get Love Tokens by purchasing them or inviting friends via WeChat.

Kibble is 10 Love Tokens for 10g and Snacks are 20 Love Tokens for 20g. You are able to buy a minimum of 32 Love Tokens for 1.99 Chinese Yuan (0.25 Euro or 0.28 USD) or a maximum of 21000 Love Tokens for 998.00 Chinese Yuan (127.67 Euro or 138.63 USD).
